I like the creative way you placed your poetic words. A new view of an old time fairytale with all the evil floating to the top. I enjoyed reading this, Gilly.
Issy 😎
You write beautifully, and with great insight and imagination. OK, it’s Cinderella, but it’s a lot more than a fairytale retold. You’ve created savage images of oppression, suffering and lethal envy. The damsel fly, the skin like seaweed, the consumptive chill, hags with their own green devils – such vividness. So many fairy tales end like this. More please!
Oh, wow, this is powerful, Gilly. A 21st century look at Cinderella. Very creative.
Very imaginative and expressive 🙂 Poetry isn’t a strong point of mine, but I love your use of words in such a powerful way.
Powerful!
Wonderful!

I meant so-called “fairy tales”.
Oh my word! The power of words. This is so imaginative and beautiful 😊
Oh do you like it? I think it’s a bit strange!
The beauty likes in the strange dark thoughts 🙂
Wow, Gilly. Such amazing writing, and sadly I fear that it’s not really fiction. So many Cindys in this world of ours.
Thank you, I nearly didn’t post it because it’s a bit weird! and yes very true.
I’ve actually read it many times since you posted it, but only now ventured a comment. It’s really quite shocking to read. You write so well, Gilly. ❤
Thank you my dear, I’m touched x:-)x
Excellent dear Gilly
