Gerry, you stinker. Asking “Is it Christmas …” You’ve been thinking about it almost as long as I have. You’re already planning your Christmas project — and thinking about three stories for the “Merry Christmas, World!” challenge (I hope).
Exeter in the UK, its a path beside the ancient city wall where each years there is a long row of charity Christmas trees! I’m glad you like it, thanks for visiting.
It is fantastic and so festive – thank you for letting me know. I miss England most around Christmas time. I never would have believed it before I moved to Asia, but there is something about the cold and dark that just makes the holiday season just so much more festive. Bizarre, but true!
Lovely trees, but something’s missing: s.n.o.w. 😀 😀 Everyone gets a jump on the holidays nowadays. I wonder, how early is too early. 😮
Lucky YOU! All those lovely trees paint snow to me. B-r-r-r
Gilly, I always look forward to your WW shots! Always delightful! Where is this? Is it a fundraiser of some kind? If so, it’s a great idea. If not, then its a charming walkway! Well see and captured.
Ahh you’re a sweetie! It’s in Exeter, my city in Devon. There is a section of old city wall (which is nearly 200 years old) and each year there is a row of trees decorated by various charities to raise funds!
Such beautiful and colourful trees Gilly. Lovely shot hon. 😀 ♥
Thanks Sophia, I wished I’d had a camera instead of my phone, I must try to go back!
Nothing wrong with your phone shots Gilly. I think it’s really beautiful. 😀
Oh dear, is it Christmas?? greeaat!

How lovely! My kind of walkway.
An inviting path, Gilly. Nice one.
Simply wow! 🙂
Wow – love this photo! Where was this?

I may be asking for trouble but there isn’t much chance of snow in Exeter!

lol I would if I had any 🙂
Oh gosh, less than a month to go now…
How wonderfully festive Gilly! Hope you do get to return with your camera.
So beautiful, Gilly. They really brighten up the dull winter’s day. 🙂 Are the decorated trees for sale, or just for donations?
Happy New Year Gilly.
Lovely that you are was highlighted in the Wordless Wednesday post today.
