At the bottom of West Street in Exeter, this 3 storey merchants house is believed to date back to 1430,
So these wooden lines have been around a while.
Tomorrow is the last day of Becky’s Square lines challenge for October.
I find the history of textiles really interesting,this early carding machine gets the yarn all lined up.
Just today and two more chances to join Becky’s square challenge.
Not the sharpest of images, but I like the colours and the dark, twiggy lines.

Just a week left of Becky’s square lines challenge and I haven’t managed as many as I’d hoped. Luckily she doesn’t mind, all are welcome with that lovely lady. Today mine is a hotch-potch of man made and natural, beside the Exe.

Cathedral Close is a place I used to love going to when I was a small girl, to feed the pigeons and play on the grass under the trees. I still love to stroll around and sometimes the light is just right.
And so, I hope, are the lines in my photo, just right for Becky’s lines and squares.

I found this pretty door in my files and thought it would make a good square with a bit of cropping.
On Saturday Becky had a post featuring lines on a sports pitch, but no ordinary one, it was the Paralympics. What an amazing event that must have been to see!
