I couldn’t resist

I went for a walk with Flora and George at the Eastern fields this afternoon and there was more spindle than I’ve ever seen.

These aren’t colours of nature that present themselves in the UK very often, and I’m always thrilled when they do.

I know Becky won’t mind another pink square

 🙂

The last day of september

What a positively pink month it’s been. Becky has worked really hard with the challenge. My last offering is a little art work by Tati Dennehy, one of my favourite ceramic artists.

So, many thanks Becky, it’s been a perfect pink month 🙂

Don’t forget to check out Becky’s last photo

Pink September 28th

A couple of weeks ago, I was on holiday in Marseille, on the Cote d’Azur. I spent a long morning on the water between Marseille and Cassis, beneath limestone cliffs, some of the highest in the Med.

Here I spotted a man scrambling up the cliff, watched by a girl sunbathing in a yellow canoe and another and one in pink!

Calanques That guy must have scraped his knees getting up there!

Becky’s back in Winchester Cathedral for the flower festival, and there are just two days left in Pink September!

And we had mint tea

In a riad in Marrakech in 2008 and again in 2010.

One of the traditional welcomes, steaming fresh mint tea in a cool room opening onto the inner courtyard. A delight to sit there after the noise and mayhem of the souk and Jmaa elfna, I definitely felt in the pink.

Riad HoudouHoudou means serene in Arabic and Riad Houdou was exactly that.

Day 26 of Becky’s September challenge and you can still join in.

Pinktember 24th

It seems I amused Becky yesterday with my Pinktember name 🙂

I couldn’t resist another mask from Widsith and Deor today, she’s bit more cheerful than the last one I posted, perhaps she’s feeling a bit more in the pink. I wish I was, but today is my first day back to work and I’m dreading the number of emails I’ll have to deal with!

Becky has some Portuguese pink flowers today. Happy Monday everyone 🙂
