In a riad in Marrakech in 2008 and again in 2010.
One of the traditional welcomes, steaming fresh mint tea in a cool room opening onto the inner courtyard. A delight to sit there after the noise and mayhem of the souk and Jmaa elfna, I definitely felt in the pink.
Houdou means serene in Arabic and Riad Houdou was exactly that.
Day 26 of Becky’s September challenge and you can still join in.

What an inviting scene.
You’re doing a terrific job on this challenge, darlin! Never been to Morocco but I’ll never forget the Enchanted Nights festival in the Algarve and the lovely atmosphere. Mint tea galore! 🙂 🙂 Just nipped in to give you a hug!
Oh this is lovely. I’d happily relax here for a few days let alone hours!!
Oh, fabulous! Very serene, but what a burst of pink, Gilly!
