For me at least. As last summer was the first time I’d grown it and not very successfully I admit, I didn’t know what to expect.
So is it obvious what this is to everyone but me?
Come away with the raggle taggle gypsy-o

I am confused as you are!! Rather fabulous though
Hi lovely girl, how are you? It’s exquisite isn’t it?
Hello, I am well. How are you? Hope all is good, and that there are no WW2 bombs in your back garden!!
Nope, and you haven’t given me any clues in the tags! I hazard a guess at Chinese lanterns but I don’t think so. Looks sort of familiar…but not 🙂 🙂 Belated happy weekend!
You’d be right sweetheart x:-)x
A big mystery to me. Makes me wonder.
It’s a Chinese lantern Ruth, how are you?
Me neither. I’d love to say I know what it is but I haven’t a clue.
hiya, it’s a Chinese lantern 🙂 take care my dear.
My guess is chinese lantern too!
I’d go with Chinese lantern too. A lovely photo. And if you grew it don’t you have the label or seed packet?
Yes of course you’re right Jude. A friend gave it to me as a baby plant and it didn’t do very well. I’m glad I saw the beautiful swansong.
Hope we get to see the results of your garden makeover once you have the time. Not so long now to retirement! And hey, maybe we will eventually meet up at Rosemoor!
Chinese Lantern seedpod. It’s really special. 😍
no idea, but beautiful
I go for chinese lantern too, Gilly. You’ve made a fabulous shot of it too.
Probably a chinese lantern…or, just possibly, a purple tomatillo…and I’m almost certainly wrong with both guesses!
It’s a wonderful photo, whatever it is.
I haven’t a clue!
My imagination sees a capsicum wrapped in a lace shawl (artistic licence!!!)….how are you keeping Gilly?
