A Sequel to Short Listing

This is the logo for Flash Fiction South West and I am proud and excited to be part of the very first published anthology, Kissing Frankenstein and Other Stories. Not only is it a first for FFSW, it’s a first for me! My very first time  in print.

I know that lots of you are published writers, do you remember the feeling you had when you first held a book with your name inside? I’ve been bouncing for twenty four hours now!

May 16th is National flash Fiction Day, perhaps you will be inspired to write something on that day. If not, check out the talent that the West Country has to offer,

http://flashfictionsw.co.uk/ and it’s even better to run your hands over the sleek cover and inhale the fresh, gorgeousness of new book.

  1. Mighty congratulations, Gilly! I know, from reading even just your travelogue entries and short fiction stories, that such a book is lucky to have your work in it. 😀
Hope to join you in that circle of published writers, some day. 🙂

  2. You need to remind us on the 16th, Gilly and re-post a link to check your work out. I’d love to see your article/story. 🙂

  3. Many many many congrats Gilly! I’d love to one day be ‘in print’ but so far only self-published on Kindle (a novel and a memoir). Still dreaming of being ‘discovered’! Ha!

  4. Oh, Gilly, I am SO EXCITED FOR YOU!!!!! Great news. I hopped over and found your story. You are so good at saying just enough and leaving just enough NOT said. You obviously have a future as a mystery writer.

  5. Excellent news, Gilly! Wight Writers anthology, Making Waves, was published by the group two winters ago and it was thrilling to flick through the book and see my contribution in print. Enjoy! 🙂
