Sara Rosso has chosen Up this week. I knew this was familiar and sure enough some of us have been UP before. Here is mine from 2011 https://lucidgypsy.wordpress.com/2011/08/26/weekly-photo-challenge-up/ I still love my laughing Arabian!
To join in this time go to http://dailypost.wordpress.com/2013/04/19/weekly-photo-challenge-up-2/ and add your entry.
This time I’ll show you one just snapped at the park.

Further from home, the tower in Kuala Lumpur
and one to make you rush! If they rang you had to get up really quickly!

Wake Up!
I love the first photo. It’s so cheerful.

i love that first photos as well! it should get a ‘best in show’ award or ‘peoples choice’!!!!
A popular phrase in Ghana used at various functions, church, conference, meetings etc. is ‘shall we be up standing? 🙂 Now I wonder if it is correct English
Thank you for you kind comments on my blog. I love the content here! You are so interesting!
Greetings from Maryland 🙂
Love the photos. The first one makes me smile. The tower against the greenery is great. and the bells, I remember summer camp and the bells would signal time to get up.
One more vote for the lovely shot from the park 🙂
What a lovely photo of the balloons and the kites. It really made me smile. 🙂
Super, those kites and balloons, and up, up and away….. 🙂
The first image is delightfull, Gilly, but I luv ’em all!
love the playful image in the park gilly … and your others are fun too … now i must get up and start the day … after a night of very heavy rain … the dams are overflowing again 🙂
Unusual and unbelievable. Colourful and of course, I love them all, Gilly.
Spring’s got to the city fathers up your way, LG? Wonderful circusy light pole. 🙂
One of the nicest parts about participating in the challenge is visiting fellow participants blogs and viewing their selections for the WPC. Nice ones.
Love the fun shot in the park, Gilly. The last photo is reminiscent of Downton Abbey.
I love the up picture with the balloons and kites, Gilly. 🙂
Love the variety here Gilly!
Exciting version of Up. Sometimes, we need a bit of rush. Thanks.
Love the cleverness of that last picture – and I’m very glad I didn’t live back then!
The design formed in the first is amazing.
And the third really made me laugh — I was a guide for two summers at a house museum here in the Berkshires (Massachusetts, not England) — and those bells indeed worked just like you point out!
MMMmmmm … I had clicked on this one thinking it was a new one because it said – Weekly Photo Challenge: Up Again – but it was one I had commented on. BUT – my comment didn’t show up. Well, I’m pleased I checked as I would have missed this great post. The first pix is fun. I love those swirling kites and balloons. I could look at that all day. Very nice, Gilly.
