I met some geese
I gave them a call
They waddled over
and said hi
or something like it
I think they liked me
They were inquisitive in their goosey way
But they soon got bored
and waited for someone with more to offer than chat.
I know . . . but I’m rather fond of geese.

This is a great series. You even got their teeth!!!
Are they really teeth Cee?
What nosey and social geese. The close-up with the teeth, wow. Are they really teeth like Cee said?
I wondered the same thing myself!
Great minds think alike. Isn’t that what they say. 😉
I have never seen geese this close up — and have definitely never seen their teeth. Fantastic shots, Gilly. I like geese myself.
I love your geese Gilly … they are just like the beautiful geese I had many years ago, I did adore them, and even showed them in the local show … your photos bring back all their great expressions, and their soft sounds 🙂
These are very clear shots, Gilly. 🙂
What amazing pictures you have here! So up close and personal and so focused – truly wonderful – thanks fort sharing!!
This really made me laugh!
so cute ☺
I have a group (dont know their official group name) of young male turkeys-big-but still hanging around together, that follow me everywhere-I say that I am their Pied Piper…I feed the sunflower seeds, they walk right up to me, I could touch them if I tried. They have a distinct pecking order, often fighting over who gets to eat first, even though I spread the seeds out. I have gotten to know them so well, I have named the,. Its not as frightning to see a group of turkeys running at you as it is the bears we have in our mountains since the wealthy built houses on mountaintops and isolated areas and drove them down to where they know there are easy pickings. We see the bears so often, no one even gets excited about it anymore, unless its a close encounter…beebee
sooo adorable! i knew that chickens don’t have lips, but i never realized that geese had teeth! what awesome clicks. thanks for the smile.
Such fun! It almost looked like the bill had little teeth!
hahaha .. they are very curious. I wish we could have heard them. They can be very loud.
Cute post, Gilly.
They sure look like they haven’t missed too many meals, huh! They’re adorable. Great shots, Gilly!
Hehehe. I think they were very curious geese, Gilly. The one in pic #5 looks as though he has tiny teeth! I would have been very glad of that fence between us. 🙂
Cute post, Gilly. I’m not one who is afraid of animals. I don’t have the same fear with spiders, snakes or sharks than most people do. But with geese, uh-uh, I can not … nah ah… go near them.
Anyhow, very cute post.
Super photo!
Amazing pictures, love them, first one is my favorite 🙂
Fantastic shots, Gilly and your comments made me laugh! 🙂
