So many of you were interested in yesterdays picture for ‘stone’ that I felt I had to show you a little more of the building.
Aren’t they pretty? And thanks to Nikki for adding this link to Facebook,

such an ornamental building, thanks for wider view … it must be unique!
I don’t know anything about architecture but I know what I like. I love the architecture in these photos. I wonder how these were built THEN without the various machines of today. I enjoyed viewing these. Thank you, Gilly, for sharing.
These buildings are amazing. They do not build like this anymore. Which is a pity as this architecture is so interesting.
I love how the bricks are easily noticeable and are part of the architectural design. Compared to plain smooth exterior, bricks are more cool to look at.
Diese Gebäude sind sehr schön erstaunlich, ist die Architektur sehr interessante.Liebe Grüße und eine gute neue Woche.Grüße und Freundschaft.Gislinde
It is rather an eclectic mix of styles isn’t it? But they all work together somehow! Hope the storm hasn’t affected your end of the woods too much. Stay safe Gilly.
What a wonderful building! I often wonder how 19th century people found the energy to accomplish so much. Just think what went into designing and building something this elaborate!
These buildings look like the images you would see in a storybook. Architectural wonder ….!!!!
Love them …
Issy xoxo
Pretty and many more…
