      I was actually in my forties before I saw a windmill, we don’t have them in my part of the country and you know how we romanticize things we’ve never seen! I hope you have some sunshine tomorrow xx

  2. I can connect with the desire in your haiku, Gilly. I remember dreaming of going to China when I was a little girl, and even trying to dig a hole through the earth using my dad’s post-hole digger! I didn’t get far before I hit the water table. 🙂 And I did finally make it to China, at nearly 60! Love that photo of the windmill. 🙂
