This is beautiful and reminds me of a pop-up book for grownups that a friend gave me one Christmas. I can read the caption at the top of the structure, but I don’t understand it. Do you know what it means? Reply
It’s at a National Trust property – Buckland Abbey, that was the home of Sir Francis Drake! I did a few posts about Buckland in 2014. Reply

Something about sails on a boat! And that’s the sort of waves I can handle.
Me too, I love to look at boats but I’ve little experience of them!
I know many grown-up boys that would have a blast before such display.
me too, but then boys never really grow up do they? 🙂
I’m afraid not 😀
Lovely way of putting your blog.
Leaves me wondering on Wednesday….
Excellent, it worked then!
Left me wondering too!

Me too.

No, it’s by Sir Francis Drake but it doesn’t make sense to me either I’m afraid!
Is this a pop-up book? I like books like that. This one has a lot of details.
Great WW ….
No it’s sort of toy where you put a coin in the slot and it all comes to life!
An amazing display. Love it. Where is this? 😀 ❤ ❤

Ah, one of those things! (there must be a name for such contraptions)…..
I’m imagining it jiggling 🙂 🙂
Wait, what does this do? Is this far from your place? I want a video. 😀 I’m so curious!!!
Fifty miles from home, I wish I’d put the pound coin in now!
Looks like fun! And you didn’t put in a coin 😉
