What a beautiful shot. Are you the midwife? I love the intentness, and the blast from the past with a typewriter. Reply
Oh yes! 🙂 🙂 Love the precision! Deep frost here this morning. Photogenic but I might prefer to type. 🙂 Happy Wednesday, Gilly! Reply
She looks like I did at here age. Except the typewriter I was on was an old steel Underwood. Excellent. Reply
It’s my granddaughter’s, she asked for one for Christmas and was given it by her mum’s Great-nan. I think it will be a while before she types too fast, but I did have to sort out the ribbon a couple of times. Reply
How cool that she gets to use this machine – it brought me back to some course in the late 80s – I had a nice word processor that helped me so much…. Reply

Oh what a lovely image!
Ah, back in the olden days… That’s a wonderful shot, all the better for being black and white.
I had one of those. kept slipping across the kitchen table. Love the B&W. Is that you? 😉
Fabulous wordless story, Gilly. Sweet little thing … the girl, not the portable typewriter!
Wonderful .. 😃
🙂 Bless her little fingers. Beautiful in B&W, Gilly.
Hunt and peck! I used to have one of those, the keys used to get stuck if you typed too fast!
