I came across Troika pottery back in the mid 70’s, but it was being produced from 1962 to 1983 in Cornwall. It was the beginning of my passion for ceramics, but I couldn’t really afford to buy it, a shame because it would have been a good investment!
Here’s one of the pieces I do have, a marmalade jar.
Squares in a square for Becky’s March challenge.
What a beauty!
Ooooh, I love that jar!
You are right those pots are worth a few bob now. My mother had several pieces, but I wasn’t keen on them at the time as they were very brown! I reckon my brother snaffled them at some point as she no longer had them when she died.
Nicely done for the challenge.
Beautiful pot, and makes a lovely set of squares. And there are triangles too – bonus. Maybe I should do triangles one month!!
