    1. You must have seen it then, look right as you walk up the main street! It’s not blue really though -just dark metal, couldn’t tell what colour it was because it was in shadow. Winchester is fab, I went last month for the first time in years.

  1. Oh, I like the original too, Gilly! It looks like a very interesting sculpture. And something of a feat to get it into that position at that elevation, I would think. Thanks for posting it.

  2. Wow Gilly, that first image shows off the kite as a brilliant contrast to the background. And the image itself is such a contrast to the original click. BeautIfully done.
    And come to think of it, it reminds me a bit of an upcoming post that I have already scheduled. But only a bit. This is much more striking. You will see. πŸ™‚

  3. Nice image for the challenge, Gilly. I was wondering what it was until you answered my question on your answer to Veehcirra. Lovely and intriguing name she has – isn’t it. Anyway, I like it very much. I am trying to imagine the 3 dimensional – ness of the sculpture.
