Julia has been plotting this one for weeks, threatening a really tough challenge and even cackling about it. So we have to write the words that go with this picture!

A Cat in Need
Meow,
Dear human lady person who cooks chicken and salmon for me, please come back straight away. It seems I need you after all, because the beer person keeps throwing dry brown things into my bowl, instead of the gourmet delights you so sweetly prepare for me. And now he has done something to my head, because heβs too lazy to pamper me with the silver hairbrush, I have a scarf that smells like rabbit and something from a Christmas cracker over my eyes. He keeps talking about a Cats Protection League and looking at me strangely. Come immediately.
Meow.
I am struggling here. This cat is in need. I hate cats being dressed up, and am hoping this is a Photoshop job…
I’m sure it is Isobel, there’s an awful lot of those cards in the shops!
My goodness, Gilly, this letter requesting aid still has me giggling! Well done with this tricky prompt! π
This had me laughing out loud – I never thought I’d read anything that got inside a cat’s head as well as this. I just love the way this cat sees that humans it interacts with.
Oh brilliant Gilly. Thank you so much for joining in the silliness. I see the my extra thinking was not match for you!!
I like the notion of the cat being left with hubby while wifey has gone on vacation or something. Ha ha ha.
The beer person need training on how to catsit π
Demanding much? Bwahahaha. Love your humor, Gilly.
Very funny.
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
The last line was the best. Come immediately. Love it.
I absolutely love this take on the prompt.
What a great photo. π
delightful, and very funny!
Oh so hilarious and great.
The poor little desperate cat left in the hands of an uncaring person. I hope the human lady comes to the rescue soon. π
Gilly, you’ve done it again! Wonderful cat’s-eye point of view. I especially like “It seems I need you after all” and the “beer person”!
Hahaha .. a Cats Protection League … hysterical.
It’s real honey! http://www.cats.org.uk/ there’s a branch five miles from me!
OMG … I’m on my way to see it. I suppose cats do need protection. My fur-son cat was an abused kitty.
Thanks for the info. xoxo
