Birthday Weekend, Friday flowers

Today is my birthday and I’ve had a three day weekend of fun with family and friends. On friday I went to Cockington Court and Dartington andΒ I thought I’d show you some of the flowers I saw, enjoy!

Perhaps you can help name the mystery flowers?

  5. Beautiful vibrant flowers … you captured them so well. I have no clue what the mystery flower
is but it has a very unusual shape. The dark magnolia is my favorite. Glad you had a wonderful day.

  6. urk – i am late for an important date! sorry i missed this earlier Gilly, sending you belated birthday hugs & birthday blessings across cyberspace. i am no Sherlock, and unable to solve the mystery flowers. however the ones that are labelled ‘marigold’ in this collection look very much like the ones which are called calendula in my corner of the planet.

I would love to hear from you . . .
