Are they from your garden? Beautiful. The pale purple cosmos is hard to find here in the Philippines. I finally found one during my recent trip. I hope they grow soon. Thank you for this beautiful photo, Lucid Gypsy.
They’re cosmos Isobel, very pretty and easy to grow from seed – annuals, if you didn’t plant them and they self seeded you’re very lucky. They come in white and all shades of pink often on the same plant and you can get dwarf ones or tall ones. 🙂
Thanks Gilly. We have had them a while, I just didn’t know the name. But I have seen them growing in number and think I should like to plant more for next year.
This scene does nothing but cheer me up. It’s so pretty and seems uncontrived. Also. so English somehow.

I wish!, not it’s the RHS garden at Rosemoor, I’ve posted about it a few times 🙂
No words needed here for sure Gilly. Great shot of a beautiful and peaceful setting. Have a stunning day hon! 😀 *hugs*
There is so much beauty in a garden bed in full bloom. Gorgeous! 🙂
Looks like an invitation to serenity, Gilly. Love it. 🙂
So schön ist zum ausruhen gut lieber Gruß und einen schönen Tag Gruß und Freundschaft.Gislinde
Perfect angle makes this photo an invitation. Boy, do those red flowers POP! Lovely, Gilly. 😀
Wow. I could sit an look at that scene for hours.
What is the name of the pink and white flowers please? We have the white variety in our garden and they are so pretty.

So pretty, Gilly. Reminds me of that old song, “In an English Country Garden.” 🙂
I love all the colors….so peaceful yet vibrant…
Great picture Gilly!
I want to sit among the flowers on the bench and read a nice book.
Lovely …
That is simply lovely. The effect of the red and the pink against the greens — stunning.
