How do you decide which photos you are going to use for haiku, Gilly? Does one ‘speak’ to you, or suggest itself when you’re out with the camera, or do you browse through your images till something ‘clicks’? 🙂
If something catches my eye when I’m out, I’ll save it specifically but otherwise I browse my disorganised files! You could give haiku a go, it’s very easy, they take me about five minutes.
Perfect haiku for your desolate scene, Gilly. Love the B&W.
I don’t use black and white often enough, despite good intentions!
Black and white and a barren landscape suit each other. Your words send chills because it looks so lonely and sad. Fantastic Haiku, Gilly. ❤ ❤ ❤
It worked then, thank you 🙂
It d.i.d. for me, yes! 😮
The lack of colour makes it look eerily desolate Gilly!
In reality it’s a beautiful place!
Perfect!
Hugs sis 🙂
Perfect, and it’s so beautiful!
Thanks, you’re very kind 🙂

I’ve never written poetry, Gilly. Wouldn’t know where to start 🙂 But, maybe…
Very nice combination of words and image.
Thank you, black and white made the scene look more lonely than it actually was!
Very atmospheric photo and the words so evocative of loneliness.
Thank you, I try to make things fit!
Beautiful imagination you have Gilly
It’s like a 3D camera capture. Nice to shift the focus to the right…. unusual.
Powerful, Gilly. The perfect picture for the words — or the perfect words for the picture. But, either way, a terrific finished product.
