hite Sunday, DelicatePaula at Lost in Translation has picked the theme of delicate for her Black and White Sunday challenge. Read what she says about the possible photographic interpretations of the word here.
My photo was taken at the tomb of King Midas, Gordion in the heart of Turkey.
It’s possible that this pot is Phrygian, from the 9th century BC.
Delicate alright, Gilly!
That must have been such a lovely pot indeed Gilly. Very delicate for sure and great shot! 😀 ♥
Yes, this works perfectly. Glad you could join in, Gypsy 🙂
Great take on the challenge, Gilly. I’m glad they had enough pieces to show the beautiful artwork. 🙂
I love this interpretation of delicate, and I admire immensely your capacity to draw on your archives – unless of course you’ve just been to Turkey while I wasn’t looking!
I wish I had, although it may not be the best choice at present.
Unbelievable to have survived so long! Isn’t it beautiful 🙂
What a lovely piece .. So delicate …
