My mother kept a little wooden bowl of rocks. She’d pick one up from different places. Your photo made me remember their colors and smoothness, one heart shaped.
My grandkiddies have been rock collecting and made me a lovely rim for the ‘bird bath’ – so sweet! I wonder if they will leave them though when they return home…
That makes all those gritty bits special. 🙂 🙂 Love you, Gilly! Happy Thursday 🙂
I love your water worn rocks! My garden has souvenirs from many beaches
They must have had some fun!

I always try to remember to take a rock from the country I visit :). We have beaches with signs “do not take rocks”. This one is lovely.
Love beach rocks! Gorgeous.
Thank you Susan, I may post some more tomorrow!

Your G-babies are on the right track! A deliciously patterned pebble – and haiku.
I too love rocks or shells on the beach. Did you pick it up? 😃
