New Horizons

The horizon leans forward, offering you space to place new steps of change

Maya Angelou

This weeks photo challenge at the Daily Post has been set by Krista, very timely in these last few weeks of a turbulent year.

Here in my photo, some are strolling, some swimming towards, some catching a wave away from the horizon.

How about you, will you stride towards the future with positivity, or wallow in a mire of indifference?

  1. I like how you used the senior citizens on the weathered rock to lead our eye into the scene (and the younger crowd). A great B&W photo.
    Ω

  2. It looks a bit like Bass Rock, off the coast of Berwick, Gilly, but you’ve not been up that way. Nice shot though 🙂 🙂
Hopefully striding, but you never know. Like the quote too.

  3. This is a glorious shot. I will be posting mine tomorrow. Where did you capture this, Gilly? I wasn’t aware that this was a turbulent year for you, but I hope that 2017 will be better for all of us.

  4. I have so much respect for Maya Angelou and this photo reminds me of the Oregon coast, which I have had the pleasure of traveling down in the past. Love the ocean and reminds me of being there.

I would love to hear from you . . .
