It’s my writing group’s first evening of readings. There will be a poem, short story and a travel piece of mine. No, I’m not reading, I’m too shy and my voice is too feeble, so a friend is kindly reading for me!
Are you going to post these treasures? I can understand shyness reading what you’ve written. I remember sitting with my script and thinking “I’ve got two choices here. I can read the first word. Or I can burst into tears.” A friend reading is a great idea. Enjoy the evening, my dear good writer.
