Pointy Art

My hope for today is to relax and catch up with some blogging, as I’ve had a busy week. Does anyone else feel like life in general is getting busier? I’ve toyed with the idea recently of giving up blogging, but I would miss so many people in this magical world. I could try posting twice a week, perhaps that’s the answer.

But then there are so many challenges that are hard to resist, like Becky’s March Squares! There’s lots of pointy sculpture in Barcelona, the one above is at the Park Joan Miro.

  1. Aha, a feeling I’m familiar with, I suppose all of us. πŸ™‚ I’m blogging with my partner and our two little bookfayries Siri and Selma. Preparing a blog, answering the comments and visiting the other bloggers are so time-consuming, we have long ago agreed on posting only twice a month. πŸ˜‰
    Lovely pointed art!

  2. Hi – I also can relate – and I take it month by month and try to set a limit because sometimes there is a vortex that sucks us in! Hah – and so fulfilling too – or as you noted – the fun challenges – but a new normal happens quicker than we realize – and so it is prudent to objectively assess we spend anywhere – eh?

  3. Yes, I’m with you on your sentiments, Gilly! I really would miss my blogging friends, but I need a break every now and then or normal life gets too busy

  4. Well I’m retired so blogging is my hobby and I enjoy preparing posts and taking photographs that I can publish, but when you are busy working it is not so easy. I think part of the answer is not to get sucked into challenges and feel you have to participate in every one, but to post when you feel you have something you really want to share. Maybe once a week or when the mood takes you. I’d hate for you to stop altogether, so many good friends have and I miss the interaction we once had. I’d definitely miss you.πŸ˜₯

  5. oh this is beautiful, so glad you found it irresistible again!

and I know what you mean about blogging, some weeks it is incredibly challenging staying in contact. Last week a case in point for me . . . but everyone is always there patiently waiting and as you say so lovely I would hate to not blog now.

  6. I can resist the challenges, Gilly. In the main they don’t really interest me, but the people! Well… you know how lovely some of them are πŸ™‚ πŸ™‚ Wishing you a stress free, not too busy week, hon. With hugs!

I would love to hear from you . . .
