HAPPY NEW YEAR

If anyone remembers me that is.

I hope you’re all well and I’m sure you’re looking forward to a better 2021.

I plan to be back this year, although it may be June before I’m posting regularly, that’s when I retire at last. Just five months, I think I’ll cross out the days on a calendar. I can’t wait to have more time to write, take photos, blog and keep working on the garden.

It’s ages since I’ve had my camera out, I just make do with my phone, then get cross with myself when I can’t make the most of a view like this.

I might have to learn how to create posts all over again as so much has changed.

  1. Take your time, at the moment we all have plenty of that! You will be able to throw yourself into posting by June and perhaps by then the Covid lark may well be on the run. Let’s hope so anyway.

  2. So glad to see this post from you. I was worried that I had lost touch completely. You may have seen my comment a couple weeks ago about having lost your appearance in my Reader. I unfollowed and then followed again just to be sure I was able to get posts from you. I know what you mean about the challenge of posting since all the changes. It’s a bummer. Things don’t work the way they say they should. But we’ve had years to get used to that kind of thing with WP so I guess we can get through this new editor as well. But I often go back over to the old one on my Admin page. It’s just quicker and easier for everything. Happy New Year.

  3. Good to hear from you again, Gilly! And it’s a lovely picture.

Hope things have been going well for you in the difficult year we just got to the end of. Happy New Year.

  4. Chuck out everything you knew and start again, hon. 🙂 🙂 I intended to do that but unless you have a proper break from blogging it’s hard to do. Wishing you a happy, healthy retirement, darlin! 🙂 🙂

  5. Happy New year to you as well my lovely, have missed you. Just think, when you retire, we would all have been vaccinated, then we can meet up, hug, lunch in a pub and rummage through old second hand bookshops. YAY!!! xx

I would love to hear from you . . .
