I don’t know much about this quote, except that it is from a Rabbi who lived in ancient times, whose name was Hillel the Elder. The post is for Jackie at A Cooking Pot and Twisted Tales. I hope you will go out and let stories happen to you, and that you will work them, water them with your blood and tears and your laughter till they bloom, till you yourself burst into bloom. Then you will see what medicines they make, and where and when to apply them. That is the work. The only work.
