Today, I’m mindful
of those who really need
to feel confident and secure
to be able to fulfil their role
but often just aren’t
I’m going to try to tread carefully
and remember that I have been in that place
I’m going to remember
that I was lucky enough
to know it could be different
such thoughtful words gilly … how easily we forget that others may be struggling with lack of confidence … thank you for reminding us all π
Wonderful sentiment! We can all learn from this.
It is amazing how words can make or break a persons confidence!!
What a wonderfully compassionate counselor you must be. This is a beautiful stone and something we all can learn from.
A wonderful, often overlooked reminder. Whilst, you greatly advised us to just seek, we also understand that there are people, even including us, who get weaken, afraid and are tending to lose confidence.
ENCOURAGING WORDS!
BE ENCOURAGED! BE BLESSED!
Love this January small stone, Gilly. We all need encouragement and understanding, don’t we?
Thank you for today’s inspiration. I always believe things happen for a reason and today, I was meant to read this. Beautiful my friend.
Very nice, Gilly. A lovely read.
Wise words.
Hi Gilly! your blog is an inspiration, with the lines and the photos inlcuded with your small stones. i browsed the recent blog entries yesterday, and inspired by the skies i came across, put together a collage – one of your skies is included, too, here’s the link: http://virtual-notes.blogspot.de/2013/01/sky-stone-collage.html
have a beautiful january!
Enjoying your Small Stones series, Gilly!
Ths touched my core, Gilly. π
This was brought home to me yesterday, Gilly. Very thoughtful words, and something we need to remind ourselves quite often. Thank you.
This is not only wise but beautifully put Gilly
This puts into perspective an unexpected conflict I am dealing with right now. Hindsight, they say, makes scholars of us all and I would do well to remember that I didn’t always know what I know now. My confidence in being able to cope with life situations comes ~ not only from my inner sense of what is right ~ but from having no other option. Thank you for this timely reminder, Gilly! π
Thank you for that mindful reminder.
