Lyme Bay

Saturday was beautiful and we drove through Torbay, stopping near Thatcher’s Rock to gaze at this view of Lyme Bay. The phone camera doesn’t do landscapes well but gives you the feel at least. Stretching across the sea are some of the little places I’ve taken you, my favourites, Exmouth, Budleaigh Salterton, Sidmouth, Lyme Regis and Charmouth.

  1. I love that coastline. Lyme Regis has under gone a brilliant make-over in recent years so it is one of our ‘let’s go on a picnic ‘ places!

      1. I get you, but I meant a little skiff to poodle around in. It would be lovely to see the coast from the sea.
Not sure about the plant. I’ll go with you.

  2. You are SUCH an amazing photographer. Can I put this as my new wallpaper? Its so peaceful…I just want to sit and stare at it πŸ™‚

  3. Lyme Regis to me = Jane Austen’s book, Persuasion.
I didn’t think that there was actually a bay attached (in a way.)
    Beautiful photo, beautiful location.
