Yesterday I said I would post some more photos of the wonderful sculpture at Broomhill Art Hotel, but easier said than done. I took so many photos, there was such a wide range of work and many, many pieces that I liked, that I hardly know where to begin.
So, these are some of the first I saw, whilst having coffee and a freshly baked cookie on the hotel terrace. I’m fairly sure these are from two artists, Laury Dezengremel and Carol Peace.
I hope you like them as much as I do, if so do you have a favourite?
#2 with the couple sky gazing… 😉
Good choice Gerry 🙂
Gosh, these are fabulous! I have NO idea how to pick just one! Thanks so much for sharing the photos.
Hugs from Ecuador,
Kathy
Glad you like them Kathy 🙂 x
Amazing. I’d go for the individual looking up to the sky.
Yes, she’s lovely 🙂
I like them all, but the boy reading tugs at my heart. ❤ Thanks so much, Gilly. I learn something new here each time I come to visit.
Ahh I’m so glad and I love to visit you just as much! 🙂
😛 😛 ❤
I love the one of the two boys sitting side by side. It’s hard to cull out photos – isn’t it? They are all so wonderful. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you dear, lovely to see you 🙂
All of the sculptures convey emotion, but I like the group of four the most. I didn’t exactly know why, at first, but then realised I have a fascination for oriental images in traditional dress. One of my dreams is to see the Terracotta Warriors in China, and I think these scultures made me feel that desire. Thanks for sharing Gilly, looking forward to more. 😀
It was amazing how much expression was achieved on such little faces, glad you like them and hope you get to go to China one day 🙂
2 and 8, but they’re all beautiful!
Hello Old Friend. I am writing to ask you if you know how to contact Drifter Dave, My Man has passed away and I wanted to tell Dave but I can;t find his contacts. 🙂
I can easily how one could go crazy snapping pictures of these awesome art displays. They look so unique and inspiring.
An amazing gallery Gilly! The setting seems to add to ones appreciation of these sculptures. The seated couple looking up (br5), and the lone woman (br8) are my favourites.
These are great. Thanks. Must get there one day.
got here via the latest weekly photo challenge. thanks for including the link. i really like the one of the boy reading.
Thanks Kris, i did several posts about Broomhill, I must go back this year!
