There’s no need to look very far to find zigzags, most towns and cities will have architectural features that meet this weeks photo challenge.
Apart from some natural zigzags, mine are all photos taken in Exeter Cathedral and surrounds.

Very well spotted, Gilly. I love your zigzags
Thanks honey!
Ah, that beautiful new alter, love it đŸ™‚
It’s very tactile as well!
Beautiful zigzaggery – love the vaults and the altar.
The cathedral vault is the longest stretch of unbroken Gothic vaulting in the world!https://lucidgypsy.wordpress.com/2012/04/28/exeter-cathedral-2/
Great images and fantastic entries for this week’s photo challenge theme! Love the roof tops!
Lovely zig zags of a beautiful looking town Gilly
I’m lucky to live in such a beautiful city!
I could care less about zigzags, that architecture is gorgeous! I love your shots.
Thank you đŸ™‚
not seen that new altar so we must pop in!
It’s always worth a visit!
Wow! I’ve never been to Exeter, and your photography makes me feel keenly that I’ve missed a lot. These are wonderful and unusual interpretations of zig zag.
Maybe one day?
Incredible selection for the challenge, Gilly.
Thanks dear Issy đŸ™‚
I love the wood work. Is that a table?
It’s an altar in our nearly one thousand year old cathedral!
My eyes are locked in that vaults. I love it!
It’s even better in reality, and the longest in the world!
Beautiful examples all, but that altar is special!
It’s the most lovely tactile wood!
