These are in the grounds at Killerton, have you ever tried willow sculpture? Many years ago I did a workshop and made a life sized heron that stood beside my pond, great fun but hard on the hands. Reply
No, I’ll confess I haven’t. The nearest I got was when teaching a dyeing workshop – and the tutor next door was teaching willow coffins! Maybe one day… 🙂
Love these, Gilly. The B&W makes it look as though they’re standing in snow, especially with the WP snow falling all around them. 🙂 Reply
Lovely, Gilly! Inspired. I just may go find me some of these. Our ‘real’ deer are shy in the winter months. Reply
Lovely fluid lines considering they are made of reed! You do manage some special WW shots Gilly. Reply
Oh thank you Madhu, they are nearly always phone shots though -must get myself a little camera to carry around! Reply
Love these! And the black and white photography!
Thanks Karen, quite a lucky and seemingly seasonal edit!
Awwh! Now they go well with the’snow’ 🙂
A lucky edit Jo 🙂
Where did you spot these? They would be welcome in my garden 😉
