Lovely Gilly!I wish summer was history
Oh dear, I’ll swap with you Maureen!
How delightful – you summed up so much – well done
You’re very kind Yvette 🙂
I do believe I can see a very faint tinge of green on those trees!!!
I really wish it was so!
It will happen… 🙂
I hope to believe that the path will lead to all things Spring and beautiful. Happy New Year to you and your family.
And to you, thank you!
This is such a lovely picture and an inviting pathway. Your Haiku has me ‘tasting’ spring and longing for it.
Is it cold in your neck of the woods at the moment Tess?
Not too bad today, Gilly. Forecast is high -1 C and low -5 C. They said sunshine but not really. So far this has been a light winter. Of course February and March might decided it’s time to cause a ruckus. 😀
Ooh, I love it! Reminds me of some of the few good memories in my life.
Thank you.
Yeah, much food for thought! 🙂
Please send me some Accra sunshine sis!
A lovely pathway. Your haiku captures that perpetual northern longing for spring, and also winter beauty. I love the colours you’ve captured and the delicacy of a world without leaves.
Last night, I walked in a light city snowfall, and felt the invigoration of cold. I have been feeling a longing for winter!
I hope you don’t get fed up with it before it ends Meg!
Gorgeous image, Gilly. Love your hopeful haiku. Yes, I can definitely see some sunshine and a few splashes of green. 🙂
I really hope its soon!
Beautiful image and Haiku! Gilly! Wishing you warmth and sunshine soon 🙂
We’ve had sunshine and blue sky today but sadly not the warmth!
