I think it’s a fantastic shot Gilly. I’ve seen shots with phone cameras that looks way better than some of these expensive cameras, and if they have a great eye like you, just the better. 😀
Takes them safely home… 🙂 I love it, Gilly. I hope that you don’t mind that I’ve taken you up on your suggestion and borrowed your title too! I thought that you must link to a Haiku challenge but I looked high and low and couldn’t find one. I should have known you were being original. 🙂 Thanks for the idea.
Perfect haiku for your lovely pic, Gilly. 🙂
Good old phone pics 🙂
“A speedy thrash of paddle” – what a wonderful phrase.
Thanks, it just fell from the sky 🙂
both…nicely done
G takes a bow 🙂
ovation
What a lovely view. Great shot and haiku Gilly! 😀
There were quite a few cormorants across the river but my phone camera isn’t up to that!

This weeks? x:-)x
Too busy but they’re in my head 🙂
Okay I’ll let you off – for now 🙂
Glad they made it!
I don’t think they were in too much danger!
Awwww. I feel the rain and the motion of paddling across the water for the safety of home. ❤ Marvelous Haiku, Gilly. ❤ ❤
Thanks Tess, I think it may be one of my good ones!
Aww, Gilly, I marvel at every Haiku you share. Your words are spare, more than efficient and paint colorful and poignant pictures. ❤ ❤ ❤
Beautiful, both words and the photo. It really is a remarkable photo!
Thanks Amy, its the scene more than the photo 🙂
Nice one. 🙂
Thanks sweetie 🙂
These words are just like music — they flow so melodically. Very, very nice.
Thanks for your encouragement dear Sandra, it must be wonderful to have you as a tutor.
There’s tension in the photo going from dark to light, and you have captured it with your words…
There speaks a clever writer and photographer!
I think it is like talking to like!!!!
