It’s Mundane Monday and I’m posting for Jithin at Photrablogger for his weekly challenge, he says,
This is a challenge created to find beauty in almost everything. The challenge is simple : find beauty in everyday mundane things, capture the beauty and upload the photographs
This is quite stunning actually.
I think this is beautiful Gilly, I’m guessing that the inner and outer portions of the star are made up of Dartmoor granite? At which point you’ll probably tell me its concrete! Lol!
I don’t think it’s granite Andy, in fact I hope it isn’t Dartmoor granite, I believe that should be left where it belongs. There’s too much of it being used for posh worktops! I took the pic at Exmouth near the marina, actually as that’s a bit posh it could just be.
You’re right about the granite on Dartmoor should be left where it is, it looks far nicer up there, than in someone’s kitchen!!! Wow!!! Exmouth has changed a fair bit since I was last there, I can’t believe it’s got a marina now! Mind you, it’s been over 40 years since I’ve been down there 🙂 And the only thing I remember about the holiday, was going on a narrow gauge railway in a park somewhere on the seafront! 🙂
What is this? In a floor in an important building?
I love the 3D effect created by the shading. You do find the best ‘subjects.’ 😀 ❤ ❤
Thanks honey, it’s just a pavement near the sea!
Lovely capture, Gilly. Art at your feet. 🙂
it is a lovely pattern you have found for this week. Nice catch.
