This old farm building in Fiumefreddo, Sicily was surrounded by orange groves. I stayed there, not in the barn, but in an agriturisme hotel on the same site, a few years ago.
I wonder if the building has been renovated or has tumbled down.
Traces of the past is Paula’s Black and White Sunday post here, if you’d like to join in.
What a place to stay. I love signs of a working farm.
I hope it hasn’t tumbled down. I love this; it reminds me of some old houses I saw growing up in the countryside near Dubrovnik, near my grandparents’ home. 🙂 Lovely shot, Gilly. Thank you for your entry!
Oh, gorgeous, I hope it has been done up. I would love to live somewhere surrounded by orange groves (or olives). A lovely B&W entry Gilly.
Lots of lovely visual texture.
Ooh, I love this, Gilly….oodles of atmosphere!
Fabulous, atmospheric shot, Gilly! 🙂
Did you get to your Christmas market?
Nope, I had another attempt at mastering the new oven, with a chocolate cola cake, indifferent results 🙂 🙂 🙂
You’ll have to take it in the office to share with a cuppa. 🙂 Have a lovely week, sweetheart! Monday hugs 🙂
Surrounded by an orange grove does it for me. 😀 Love the contrasts in the B&Ws. ❤ ❤
What a lovely trip. Nice black and white, too.
Gorgeous B&W image, Gilly. Nice that you have fond memories of your visit there. 🙂 xx
