Ah, this reminds me of going home from my daughter’s house in Surrey – face on into the sinking sun! Very hard to drive! And actually it is the same here most of the time 🙂
Another reminder of the past. When I lived in Broken Hill I used to regularly chase the sunset, bright over flat red plains and rocky hillsides. Only ten minutes and I was out of the city. I even had a sunset album, in the days before digital. I haven’t enjoyed a good sunset for a long time, except via you and Jude and Tish. Thank you.
Of course Warsaw has sunsets, but not high hills. Just a meagre escarpment. We’re off to the mountains for a week at the end of January – maybe then.
Drive safe! As I constantly tell my son 🙂 🙂 Hope you’ve managed a more relaxed day today, Gilly. A little sunset gazing would be nice. Hugs to last you through the week. When do you ‘break up’?
Dramatic sky. Evocative photo.
I l.o.v.e. this. Excellent. 🙂 ❤
Thanks Tess, my phone didn’t really capture what my eyes saw.
I love this idea…almost reminds me of creating a haiku – nice and simple!
I love haiku Desiree!

It can be hard for driving, but we do have some of the most lovely sunsets anywhere!
Just like my latest post driving home for Christmas… great picture
Yes, I could have sung along, but that would have been painful for my friends ears!

Oh my goodness, is there no hope of one in Warsaw? On a high hill?

I’ve grown out of driving too fast – no company cars anymore!!! Two days left, then four off, two on, four off, so I’m not complaining 🙂
So lovely, Gilly. Happy Sunday. 😘
Hi Sylvia, hope you ‘re having a fabulous trip!
A beautiful chase of the sunset! Safe trip, Gilly. 🙂
It was just a forty mile drive home, but a nice sky on one of my favourite roads!
Gilly, that sunset was worth chasing, for sure!
