So I’m having a senior moment and I can’t remember what this is, even though I’ve liked them for years. I tried an image search, and the closest is dogwood, but that doesn’t seem right. I expect our personal plantapedia will help 😉
Today is day 5 of Becky’s pink Square September, I think she found pink on the Isle of Wight yesterday.
It doesn’t look quite real! Is there a Jude in the house? 🙂 🙂
She’ll know, I do really just have tired brain cells!
Me too! I was up from 3 watching Rafa. Silly fool! Don’t have any more sense 🙂 🙂
You bonkers girl. I’ve just read Meg’s post again, I haven’t commented or emailed yet because it makes me sad. I’ll miss her so much xx
We all will, darlin. Maybe she’ll come back to us in a while. Never say never, Gilly. Just keep her in your heart 🙂 🙂 As you are in mine.
We all will, Gilly…..
Crazy girl!
There is, but she took time out to watch TV for the evening 🙂
New laptop arrived this afternoon, so I shall be spending the next couple of days installing software and copying files over! I am really rather fed up of all this now.
Mine is slowing down and I dread the work of transferring everything. You’ll soon be up and running again and it will be lovely!
I am sure I must lose stuff though, and now I am paranoid about the back up drives.
Oh no. Painful, so very painful. Sending hugs xxx
So did I last night. I mean, a person has to have some relaxation! 🙂 I was only watching an old Paul Simon concert with one eye on the Cilic match on my laptop. Not very exciting.
We were watching the old Wallander, I don’t know why because Kenneth Branagh drives me crazy in it. I want to shake the man. Can’t be good for my stress levels!
I’m sitting smugly with coffee and warm cheese scone, overlooking the bridge and castle in Durham sunshine while Mick works. Life can be hell! 😃
Your turn to be smug. Photo? Off to see my builder chappie about a roof…
The joys of home ownership! The garden Mick was doing is an old beauty. The owners are financing refurbishment from student lets. A grand little money maker 😕
I think if we move again (when) it will have to be a new build! A nice converted loft apartment maybe 😉
Started looking? 🙂 🙂 You’ll just have got the garden to your satisfaction… but it will have given you a lot of joy getting there.
Can’t say I have been looking as I am quite happy here at the moment. Give us another 5 years! By then I shall be bored with the garden 😉
Bored, woman! Bored? You’ll only have a windowbox at the next place 🙂 🙂
I’m thinking Cornus kousa – dogwood fruit. It’s a fab colour. Need Jude to corroborate.
Do you know what? I’ve googled with Kousa and I actually had one in the garden I left ten years ago. i think I’ve totally lost the plot.
And it was Chinensis!
Oh, don’t, Gilly! If we remembered everything, our brains would explode…..
Hmm, this sleuthing gets interesting!
I quite agree!
I have no idea but it looks interesting.
Swell you’re ahead of on points, even having a senior moment, as I have never known!
I am curious too now!
I love the pink color, Gilly! Am curious too. 🙂
Thank goodness for Tish and Jude! It’s pretty without a name and stunning with 😊
Have you tried an app called PlantSnap? It’s claims to be 92% accurate and apart from a couple of oddities I have found it quite useful. I copied your photo and it told me it was a ‘Chinese Dogwood – Cornus Kousa’. 🤗
Whatever it is, love the colour and the shape 🙂
