a pink what’sitcalled

So I’m having a senior moment and I can’t remember what this is, even though I’ve liked them for years. I tried an image search, and the closest is dogwood, but that doesn’t seem right. I expect our personal plantapedia will help 😉

Today is day 5 of Becky’s pink Square September, I think she found pink on the Isle of Wight yesterday.

      1. We all will, darlin. Maybe she’ll come back to us in a while. Never say never, Gilly. Just keep her in your heart 🙂 🙂 As you are in mine.

    1. There is, but she took time out to watch TV for the evening 🙂
New laptop arrived this afternoon, so I shall be spending the next couple of days installing software and copying files over! I am really rather fed up of all this now.

      1. So did I last night. I mean, a person has to have some relaxation! 🙂 I was only watching an old Paul Simon concert with one eye on the Cilic match on my laptop. Not very exciting.

      2. We were watching the old Wallander, I don’t know why because Kenneth Branagh drives me crazy in it. I want to shake the man. Can’t be good for my stress levels!

      3. I’m sitting smugly with coffee and warm cheese scone, overlooking the bridge and castle in Durham sunshine while Mick works. Life can be hell! 😃

      4. The joys of home ownership! The garden Mick was doing is an old beauty. The owners are financing refurbishment from student lets. A grand little money maker 😕

      5. Started looking? 🙂 🙂 You’ll just have got the garden to your satisfaction… but it will have given you a lot of joy getting there.

      6. Can’t say I have been looking as I am quite happy here at the moment. Give us another 5 years! By then I shall be bored with the garden 😉

  1. Have you tried an app called PlantSnap? It’s claims to be 92% accurate and apart from a couple of oddities I have found it quite useful. I copied your photo and it told me it was a ‘Chinese Dogwood – Cornus Kousa’. 🤗
