Pink sky at night . . .
Aside from pink September photos, I’m in the pink today because I have one day to work, then I’m off for 16, woohoo, by tomorrow I’ll be bouncing off the walls.

16 days? Whoopee….going anywhere, Gilly?
Marseilles, Sue. 🙂 🙂 (Gilly’s deputy if she’s busy 🙂 )
Hang about Jo, you’ve got a bit of explaining to do there….
🙂
Hmmm
Just in from writing group 🙂 ta my lovely!
Jo’s right Sue, Marseille for a week xx
Psychic, Sue! 🙂 🙂
Enjoy your days of relaxation and freedom.
Lovely sky, Gilly. It looks peaceful.
Issy 😎
So where are you heading? A month of birthday celebrations?
Marseilles for a week 🙂 Not sure about the rest!
You are a fount of all knowledge 🙂
More of a blabber mouth really 🙂 🙂
Not my birthday I don’t want any more of those 🙂
I’m not looking forward to mine next month, somehow the mid ones seem worse than those that end with a zero 😦
Remind me the birthdate? I don’t have it on my calendar. 😦 Lovely sunset, darlin! Excuse me butting in on your behalf. Couldn’t help myself.
It’s fine by me x:-)x My birthday’s in June, is yours November?
That’ll be why it’s not on my calendar for September. 🙂 🙂 Jude, misleading me! Yes- very old in November.
It’s just a number, the only one that’s bothered me was 30!
Can’t stop the clock. It’ll stop of it’s own accord soon enough. 🙂
Absolutely, my friend’s husband, 67, has just been diagnosed with terminal C.
All madly living for the moment, Gilly, because we all know people who no longer can. To end on a cheerful note, I’m attending a funeral this morning. He was 82 and a cheerful drunk most of his life. 🙂 🙂 The friend I am going with’s husband had his last chemo treatment yesterday and we all have the prayer mat out that it will be enough. Love you, sweetheart. Have a great weekend 🙂 🙂
Weird. Why did I think it was in September? Maybe because you always seem to go on holiday then? Anyway have a great time in Marseilles – not somewhere I have considered, although nearly went there once.
I like September hols because the kids are back in school and I don’t miss our summer. It’s Marseille because I’m out of ideas that are affordable, done with the tropics and I’ve only been to Brittany and Paris!
You don’t fancy the Balearic Islands or Greece?
No, what would I do in Majorca? I looked at Athens and maybe one day, but not really drawn. Are there places you really want to go?
I’m not really drawn to anywhere at the moment, maybe travel fatigue! I would like to visit more European cities, but then I feel that I have already been given the amount of coverage places get and always the same locations/buildings/museums. What I’d really like to do is spend a year travelling through Australia and New Zealand, but that’s not going to happen as the OH isn’t keen and I can hardly abandon him for a year!
Any special reason for Marseille? Whatever the reason have a great time.
Thanks Pauline it’s a part of France I’ve never been to and wanted somewhere warm without going too far!
Oh this is stunning, just stunning.
Enjoy your French trip. I’m very envious. Desperate for a break right now, I’ve been bouncing for weeks!!!
Amazing pic Gilly – already mentioned on Twitter.
Bon voyage – have a fab holiday
Carpe Diem
Hugs Margi xx
Woohoo … enjoy the break! Lovely pic Gilly
Hope your 16 Days off we’re wonderful. I’m catching up
Reading blogs today from Berlin. Xxoo
Berlin wow hope you have sunshine!
We have had sunny summer days for a week but then autumn winds arrived with the first day of fall and the temps dropped significantly.
