The Kuala Lumper tower stands 420mmeters high. At one time it was 7th highest building in the world, but now it’s been eclipsed by so many it isn’t even in the top twenty.
The view from the top was pretty amazing. I can’t help wondering where this desire to create bigger and taller will end, and I feel for the builders. I like heights, do you? Is there a point beyond which you wouldn’t want to go?
My photo is for Paula’s Thursday Special, Pick a word, one or all of five, mine is ‘Lofty’.
I’m not good with heights, Gilly!!
I’m ok going up and being at the top, but coming down can be problematic!
That’s quite impressive, Gilly. I don’t mind heights at all.
They keep building ever higher buildings here on the Gold Coast too. Constant competition to be the tallest. It’s scary
You know I always have to go up for the view. 🙂 🙂 But I’m not fond of skyscrapers. Visions of 9/11. That image will never be erased.
Hey Gilly .. no I’m not good with heights! Especially out in the open ..
Very nicely captured, Gilly! The highest I have been was at some 3,000 m altitude. Going higher could be a hazard, but yes, heights attract us 🙂
