Travel Theme, world cups at Broomhill

I haven’t taken part in Ailsa’s travel them for a long time – simply because of a lack of time, but I couldn’t resist this one.
As you know I recently visited a sculpture garden in north Devon and came home with hundreds of photos. The friend I went with won’t thank me for putting up a photo of her, but it was her favourite sculpture, and I doubt she’ll see it anyway, prove me wrong Woosie!

We're heading that way.

A rarity, a photo of me and I've even got my legs out!

Travel Theme: On Display

Ailsa said ‘No matter where you go, there’s always something for sale somewhere. The items on display in local stores are often evocative of the flavours and aesthetics of the culture you’re in and make for really interesting photographs.’ The things I have photographed are not for sale but displayed in the Museum of Anatolian Civilisation in Ankara, I’m sure that still counts.

Would you like to join in? call in at Ailsa’s Place she would love to see you.

Travel Theme: Parks

Ailsa’s challenge this week has the theme of parks and hers features the staggeringly beautiful work of Piet Oudolf – If you’ve never heard of him you must go over and look,  http://wheresmybackpack.com/2012/06/22/travel-theme-parks/

My entry is more frivilous, it was taken early in the morning from my room somewhere around the 28th floor of the Traders Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and its the children’s part of KLCC park.
