Daffodowndillys
Today I saw my first daffodils, does this mean that it’s spring? I turned around a corner in the grounds at work and they they were, totally unexpected. Bright rays of sunshine flowering their little heads off. A great big smile from me, they made my day.

Wherever you live, it’s far from where I live! What fabulous greenery and those daffs!
It’s a long way from Colorado! I’m in Devon, the south west of England!
Gosh! I have some in a vase, British ones at that, but i am pretty sure they’d have been grown in a polytunnel or similar.
I haven’t seen snowdrops yet!
I’ve been desperately hoping to see snowdrops but no luck yet either 😦
They are my favourite flowers! I do hope mine survive because they are almost out. Not sure what my garden will look like in Spring though!
Is it a new garden Julia?
Rightfully so Gilly. A gift today.
I’m in Surrey, Uk and I’ve spotted a daff, like you I was taken aback!! I too snapped it quickly. Just for your information I have the heads of snowdrops coming through!! Not long now and this winter will be over Yippee!!
Yep even if February is bad its March in 6 weeks! yippee!bring on spring!
Oh, a breath of summer. Thank you – I needed that after driving through whiteout conditions all the way home from work!!
Oh I couldn’t bear it, but I suppose you’re used to it. Take care won’t you 🙂
Oh so lovely – dear Gilly – my comment was never meant for you about the trees – but your suggestion actually made me think that there was something I could do and I am very happy about that.

Wow, hard to believe 😮 I’d love to sit on your bench… Have a nice day Gilly!
Oh Spring…I can’t wait!
Small pleasures, big impact!
Daffodils are so cheerful aren’t they? with their alert golden heads!
Not so many daffodils here. We had many in New Zealand. Your photo brought back memories!
Lovely daffodils. I am looking forward to Spring! 🙂
