This laziness is becoming a habit and if I’m not careful Haiku will become a habit too.

Waiting
Waiting final frost
A scattering of new seed
Regeneration
~~~
Naked branches stretch
Towards the beckoning sky
Dark twisted fingers
~~~
Waiting nature’s voice
To call from the underworld
Rise, I will provide
Very nice haiku. Many times these can be just as difficult to write as other forms of poetry. You aren’t lazy by writing haiku, just enjoy them. 🙂
This Haiku is wonderful. I never think these are easy. I have a friend who writes them and changes and rechanges and asks, “Which word sounds better?” etc. You do an amazing job, Gilly. Lovely.
Lovely haiku! I actually think Haiku is a pretty good habit!
