The forlorn bench craves company, perhaps it hears the joyful singing of the massed yellow flowers; we’ll never know.
We know only that someone passed that way and captured the moment for eternity.
First two words come to mind: forlorn and forgotten. What a shame because this feels such a calming, soothing place to sit. The bright yellow flowers are so cheery. What are they? I thought of buttercups right away but these are too large I think.
A place where I can sit, close my eyes and allow any past ghosts to come back and make peace with me… to join me on my crusade to make an incredible difference in the world… Lovely blog… fellow british lady…. IAM British but left my country when I was 18 to travel, I’ve lived happy lives in Holland and now Spain… Me and my husband Tom are gypsy’s… luxury ones… Maybe we can both enjoy each others journey creating our hearts desire…. Barbara
Dear Frizztext yes we can indeed enjoy baby’s first Christmas! Have a very happy time and a wonderful 2014! I look forward to more of your guitar tunes with my breakfast ♥
Sitting on the grey bench surrounded by the yellow flowers of imagination, one loses all fear and rests in the now.

Oh you’ve changed your blog look. Somehow I prefer the previous one! 🙂
Sorry honey, it was in need of an update!
I could sit there and read all day. Love the changes you made.
Oh how I would love to be sitting on that bench taking in the view! Great capture, Gilly!
Looks a very peaceful spot, Gilly.
Lovely new theme…..
Lovely photo, Gilly. The happy flowers make the bench look quite cheery.
PS: Your new header makes me shiver. 🙂
If this bench could only speak. Oh, the stories it could tell us!
Great juxtaposition of header vs theme.

A promise of beautiful, comforting Spring in contrast to Winter’s cold. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
