Love the colours and textures, Gilly. This image is almost ‘tangible’, I can almost feel the welcoming texture of the yarn. And it brings back fond memories of my weaving days! Lovely.
This yarn would make a fabulous over coat or vest. I just started crocheting for the holidays again. I didn’t complete anything but the feel of the yarn is very relaxing. Great colors in the photo and fantastic clarity, Gilly.
Great WW …

I cheated and read everyone else’s comments because my first thought was someone is spinning wool and has to keep it from getting tangle. Or dyeing it and hanging it to dry?
Great photo, says a lot. Beautiful.
What a wonderful mix of colours, and beautifully photographed to show the detail of every thread. I so look forward to your wordless Wedensday.
I think you’ll like tomorrow’s haiku more x😀X
Pretty. Is it on a weaving spool?
Beautiful detail, GIlly. Love the colours here. 🙂

Lovely natural colours here Gilly, and beautifully portrayed for us to enjoy 🙂
That looks like a lot of work, Gilly! I remember the days of having to hold the skeins while Mam made balls of wool. Lovely detail.
I remember doing that too Jo, my Mam used to buy second hand jumpers and then unravel them to use the wool again.

The autumn shades are my favourite colours Gilly, so rich and vibrant.
