And any of my friends that want to play.
One of my favourite things as a child was to roly-poly down a grassy slope in the park, was it yours too? It isn’t actually that long since I last had a go. It was still fun, but would have been more comfortable if my plump places were distributed slightly differently. I’ll probably still do it again though.
Last year when my son and grandchildren had a go at Killerton Park, I took the photos instead.
There was definitely mischief in the air that day!
Paula wants to see your favourite park, large or small for her Thursday special.
Oh, yes, lots of fun (as long as there is no dog or goose poo on the grass…) I don’t think I’d be able to get up again if I tried this now!
I was a bit dizzy in my next post!
She does! Mine’s up tomorrow, roly poly person 🙂 🙂
Perfect day to be carefree with your children. They DO keep us young. 🙂 ❤
Lying about in a park is heaven and you’ve captured it.
Do you know “The poky little puppy”? “Roly poly pell mell tumble bumble.” My last roly poly was probably (eek!) 23 years ago, for pleasure and to shock a new boyfriend with my lack of dignity. I don’t think I’ll be doing it again – new boyfriend OR roly poly!
Poke little puppy is new to me, learning all the time!
The joys of the young shine through here Gilly.
😀 This is a beautiful and special share, Gilly. Do I have your permission to display it on my blog too?
Go for Paula, I’m glad you like it 🙂
So sweet!
