oh, how lovely is this. i think that places and objects which are decaying gracefully make for some poignant camera targets, too. it makes you wonder what kind of stories they could tell if they could but speak.
and it seems that some greetings are in order – a Happy Belated Birthday to you!
i was a bit stumped with the photo challenge as well, especially since i have already once talked about numbers in a previous post, and and i don’t think i could top that one. so i’m stretching the theme a bit. in a few days it’s the First Tuesday of the month, and Timmy seems to be coming up with some numbers of his own, so will see what he has to say then 🙂

It was Thursday Paula and I was very old! Glad you liked the doorway, I wonder if it’s been repaired now, I’ll have to send Jo to check it out when she next visits Tavira. I think it’s number 28 🙂

Age is just a number Gilly, I stopped counting long ago, I just wonder who that person is when I look in the mirror, ‘cos it don’t look a bit like me! Many more happys to come and I just love your version of decrepit. 🙂

There is always some kind of mystery about these old, abandoned structures, doors, barns that still attracts our eye and imagination…
