I went to Trelissick today (because I wanted to pick up some terracotta pots from Homebase in Truro, and since I was almost at the garden it seemed churlish not to continue) and the temperature was 26 degrees! I found a lovely bench in the shade to sit and read for a while.
That sounds perfect, a good book and a nice garden.
I see you also have the sullen clouds.
We even had rain early yesterday, 28 degrees and sub again today though 🙂

Lovely shot, Gilly. 😃
Thank you, just my phone 🙂
I agree! See you there 🙂 🙂
Come on down 🙂
Oooh, where are you writing,?
In the South Hams, Broadhempston, the tutor was Tamar Yuseloff, just one day.
Good?
Where’s the poem????
I only did a very sketchy first draft. It was an Ekphrasis workshop, right up my street except there was a lot of emphasis on art 🙂
And I know what ekphrasis means – but only just. I learnt it a week ago and want to try writing the occasional one. Any good tips from the workshop?
Ok so is that in the next post?
You’ve probably seen it by now 🙂
Yes
