The road to Mole was long and hot and this wasn’t the only break down on that day. We made it of course, thanks to George’s skill – an awesome driver and mechanic!
My oh my – not a garage in sight – LOLOL
I am so glad he could fix it. Looks like a pretty isolated area.
I’m sure you were praying and “Hope”-ful …
Nice entry, Gilly ..
Toodles,

It was one of several mini breakdowns but it all added to the adventure. In Africa they can fix anything, things we would throw away in the West will be repaired over and over, whereas we seem to have lost the skills. Hence lots of African countries have cars that have failed MOT tests, or been written off in the UK, and they last another thirty years!
hi gilly, can you manage another award? How about the HUG award…for spreading hope in the world? Your bright blog certainly does that … read about it here http://wp.me/1kP6q
Hope needed, indeed! Well at least you’re still in the mood to take advantage of the moment for some photography time! Hehe! Interesting entry for the week!
Oh dear! Margie
Definitely a good time to have hope!

Gilly,
Nice photo. It struck me that another interpretation is that the bus ran over poor George….HOPE thats not the case 🙂
I never thought of that, but no worries he was fine!
Hooray for George!
Yep a real star as was Gabriel our guide.
Everybody`s Hoping in the photo nice entry 🙂
I can see the hope in this. 😉
At first I thought it was an accident – thank goodness he is ok. Good one for the photo challenge!

It’s always useful to have a ‘George’ around – this is a perfect entry, Gilly 😀
Thanks for stopping by – love your picture of hope!
I agree! great entry, Gilly. So classic the postures of everyone standing around while ‘George’ makes the magic.

Thanks Nelson, it was a good topic this week wasn’t it?
hard time!
No it was all part of the adventure!
I hope the car didn’t start moving by itself 😛 Great shot, thanks 🙂
Anything is possible in Africa!
Well done George and a triumph to hope! Great shot and what an adventure!
I love this shot… A reminder of how much we hope our travels are without incidents like this one. 🙂
Good job and I hope you all had a lovely trip!
Been there, done that (at least as far as the breakdown itself is concerned).
