I love these homes that I saw in Northern Ghana. It looks like such a tight community, something to be treasured in our hectic world.

  1. Love them too. Houses made from the basic elements of nature just takes my breathe away. They also remind us of what having a simple life should be. I grew up where my dad brings me to the farm and we would sleep in bamboo houses. Some of them sits on top of water inside a huge prawn fishpond. The best moment is when I wake up and all I hear are the sounds of birds, the gushing water and the stillness….priceless!

  2. houses that are one with nature, no door locks, no poisonous chemicals, no status symbols, completely biodegradable and recyclable …. oh if only we could relearn these simple things πŸ™‚

  3. What a gorgeous little homestead. We have definitely lost the concept of family togetherness in this modern day and age, with families scattered across the globe. 😦

I would love to hear from you . . .
