What a beautiful haiku and picture. The berries remind me of those found on a holy bush, but I see that they are called rowanberries which I am not familiar with.
I remember seeing these beautiful berries everywhere I went in Scotland and was very curious about them. Someone told me that you can make jam with them. They remind me very much of “mountain ash” that grows in the higher elevations here in the US. But please don’t scare us with the “W” word (last winter was so harsh, I’m not sure I want another W. – as in ever again – not sure what the alternatives are, short of leaving for Florida or the Caribbean for the winter) 🙂
Such sharp contrasts
Thoughts of winter (brrr) and the red berries (warm)…I agree with the previous commenter, nice contrasts. 😀
Nicely done. Haiku’s are hard to write I think yet you did a great job. :).
The contrast in colours is appealing!

outside of my window I have those red berries too – and in every month of the year lots of birds visiting…

Beautiful! Are the berries edible?
